About this Pattern
The Rosina Top is a sweet summer design full of texture, charm, and mix-and-match possibility. Inspired by the pretty gathered and shirred textures showing up in fashion right now, this pattern creates a similar look using rows of gathering across the bodice.
The curved neckline can be finished with a mini gathered ruffle or decorative trim, giving you two lovely ways to frame the top. At the waistline, you can choose a tiny ruffle for a simple, sweet finish or a longer peplum ruffle for a fuller look.
The bodice is fully lined for a clean finish, with shoulder straps, a low back, and a Velcro closure. Designed for lightweight woven fabrics, the Rosina Top is beautiful in cotton prints, florals, gingham, eyelet, lawn, and repurposed clothing.
One of the most exciting things about this pattern is how easily it coordinates with other Doll It Up patterns. The Rosina bodice is designed to work with the skirt pieces from the Lily Party Dress, Kate Dress, and Violet Dress patterns, giving you even more ways to create new looks from patterns already in your collection.
