The Kate Dress is a playful and stylish dress. It features a square neckline with perfect puff sleeves. The skirt can be sewn with the a short peplum for a sweet detail. The bodice is fully lined. To give the square neckline a sundress detail, a simple elastic casing sits at the top of the sleeve. It gives it a beautiful look and is straightforward to add. Make a peplum top with perfect proportions when you sew it without the skirt. The pattern is designed for woven fabric. You can make it with a simple cotton or add a sheer overlay for a dressier look.

Note: The Kate Dress Pattern coordinates with the Lily Party Dress Pattern. Each dress has a different style bodice and skirt that coordinate stylistically and with fit. You can combine the Bodice and Skirt of either dress to make a variation.
