This blog is about the little things. It is about play. It is about creating. It is about spending time together. It is about taking something and recreating it into something that tickles the imagination. That is the spark that started this blog. We can come together through interests and hobbies. For me it has always been about coming together. Spending time with a daughter, making a gift with a son, creating with nieces and nephews and friends. So let’s keep making stuff and play even more. Discover Beauty
My husband and I took the children and a nephew to pick apples in the neighbor’s yard this fall. The kids romped around the different varieties of apple trees and ate and ate apples. We marveled together at how beautiful the apples were and how different each tasted. They settled on their favorites.
My nephew said he’d never tasted such a delicious apple. He was feeling joy in the details that day. We were all feeling joy in the details and the beauty around us.
