St Patrick’s Day Banner

A quick and easy St. Patrick’s Day craft for all ages!  This doll sized banner is a cute festive addition to any doll space!

We hung ours from a doll sized mantle but it really would be fun in any spot your doll calls home!

Cupcake liners are the secret to the simplicity of this craft!  Here is what you’ll need.

Supplies:

  • mini cupcake liners (Any color of the rainbow would by fun for St. Patrick’s Day!)
  • yarn or chord
  • shamrocks (Mine are from an inexpensive necklace.  Use stickers, confetti, or make your own.)
  • craft glue

To get started cut the yarn or chord to the length you want the banner.  Flatten out enough cupcake liners to cover the length of the yarn or chord.  Fold them each in half.  Place the cupcake liners on the yarn or chord one at a time, with a little glue in the fold of the liner.  Set it aside to dry.  Add a shamrock to the middle of each scallop on the banner, with a little glue.  After it is dry, hang it up for some festive St. Patrick’s Day decor!

If you like to craft with kids this project is super kid friendly!

Don’t forget to make cupcakes with the extra liners! 🙂
