While many parts of the country have received pounding snowstorms, we have had a quiet winter. A little too quiet and it shows since our snow is all melted.
When there was a little snow last month I had a fun photoshoot with Saige in the Pretty Pink Coat Set.
It was the first time I tried posing a doll in the snow and if you’ve photographed dolls on different surfaces, you know they can tip over easily.
At one point Saige fell on her back in the snow. Her curls were so pretty against the snow I went with it and helped her make a snow angel.
Sure enough when I picked her up there was perfectly mini, doll sized snow angel.
Doll photography is one aspect of this blog that I’ve enjoyed more than I realized I would. It is a creative process.
If you haven’t tried your hand at doll photography get behind a camera and give it a shot! We are all things creative around here, so of course I’m going to encourage you to get creative and try something new!

Thanks! Doll photography is a lot of fun!
Really cute! I agree about the doll photography…it’s definitely the thing I enjoy most about having dolls. I love the snow angel! 🙂
Thanks! Taking pics of dolls has been a fun way for me to learn more about photography, something I’ve always wanted to do.
