I love seeing the same pattern sewn into different fabrics! It’s so much fun to see how the look and style can change even though they are made exactly the same way! Today I have sewn up the Banded Dolman Shirt into a fabulous little sweater. (Get the free pattern download here, if you missed it!)
To get the look, use a thin sweater knit with 4-way stretch and 50% stretch (It’s the same thing that’s recommended on the pattern and guide). If you need more information about stretch direction or percentage check out the PDF download that includes a detailed guide to help you choose the perfect knit!
The weave of this sweater knit is loose, so I layered it with a tank top.
Fashionable and fun, it’s going to be perfect for fall!
Thin sweater knits look awesome with the style and fit of the Banded Dolman!
Yes, same pattern and a different look!
It’s awesome to be able to use the same pattern and get so many different looks just by using different fabric!
It makes it feel like you can get more uses out of a pattern!
If you still need to get the Banded Dolman Shirt pattern, you can find it here!
