Valentines is a great excuse to share notes with loved ones and friends!
A lifetime ago when my oldest 3 kids, now 17, 15 and 11, were then 9, 7 and 3, we had a family Valentines exchange. We each had a Valentines pocket and what fun everyone had checking their envelope and what fun everyone had filling up each others with notes and small treats.
I thought this year would be a fun year to bring back our family Valentines exchange. It’s different and revised for 2016 but still a fun excuse to share notes and loves with each other. Oh, and of course a few treats. 🙂
I designed a few sheets of mini Valentines for the occasion, with my 4 year old baby in mind. (Oh and please don’t tell her I called her my “baby”, she thinks she’s strictly a “big girl”. Thanks :))
These Printable Valentines are…
- for exchanging with family and friends.
- mini, mini, mini and oh-so-cute taped to a favorite treat.
- great printed on card stock for play, you know, for a dolly sized Valentines exchange!

I made these Valentines in PicMonkey. Have you discovered this online photo editing/graphic design program? Many of the features are free, so I recommend you try it out. I created each Valentine using several overlays, changing the colors and adding text. I seriously use this program a ton! It is so easy to use I decided to pay the Royale Membership fee of about $33/year. (Yes Royale fee, because the creators over at PicMonkey also have a sense of humor! Ha!) Of course it is immensely useful for this blogging stuff but also super fun and useful for all kinds of photo/graphics projects if you are into that sort of thing.
As for these Valentines, I wish I would have had my act together and shared them earlier with you but, with Valentines this weekend, and an easy printable at your fingertips, hopefully some of you will be able enjoy them!
Happy creating! Happy gifting! Happy Valentines!
