Make a Button Beach Bag for Your Dolls!

Today I have a quick craft to share.  It is a crafting challenge from Laura Kelly.

1. Create something with Laura Kelly buttons
2. Use Aleene’s craft glue
3. Make it for dolls

For the challenge I made this colorful beach bag.

The beach bag design is something I made for Doll Diaries last year.  You can find the tutorial here.  Instead of using duct tape, this time I used colorful buttons!

Looking through Laura Kelly’s Button Mix (which is available here or here), I chose out the colors that went with the doll’s swim set.  I glued them to the beach bag using Aleene’s Fast Grab Glue.  With this glue there is no slipping around.  Each button stayed put as soon as I stuck it to the project.  That is so important when working with 3-D embellishments like buttons!

While the glue was still wet I sprinkled on a little white glitter to add a touch of sparkle.  This glue drys clear.  Before trying out the bag I let the glue completely dry.
