Hang Doll Stockings for Christmas-Quick and Easy!

Are you putting out a stocking for your dolls this year?

I have a super quick and easy way to hang doll size stockings for 1 or 20. Hang stockings on doll furniture or display them all together as decor in your own room!

This project is so versatile because we use little suction cups with hooks.

Suction cup hangers come with paintable sun-catchers, like the peace sign pictured above. If you’ve painted one of these sun-catchers, you may have an extra suction cup hanger around the house!

I wanted a lot of stocking hangers, so I bought a big pack of them at Walmart by the crafts and the sun-catchers.

One way to use this little hanger is to first stick it onto a doll plate or canning lid. Display it in a doll scene or as part of you own decor. For our doll scene the little suction cup was attached to the plate of cookies. Hang the stocking on the hook and it stays right in place, even full of Christmas surprises!

The suction cups will stick to anything non-porous, such as smooth glass, metal, or plastic.

Be creative about where you hang them. Doll stockings would be cute displayed around your room! Here are a few more places I thought of, but the options are endless! Remember it needs to be a non-porous surface!

on a mirror or across the bottom of a mirror
on a window
on a picture frame
on a metal or plastic message board
on any metal or plastic furniture
on canning lids or doll size plates and set on doll furniture or a shelf (Just like in the pictures!)
