It’s funny what you notice when you have something on the brain! Like, halloween rings, for instance! Todays idea jumped out at me when I saw it on Pinterest. Visit here to see their awesome halloween spread!
I love that we have made the fruit spooky! I put a plate full of these together for company last week and boy they were a hit with the kids!
It goes quick putting them together. Just cut off the “ring” and hot glue the creepy critter onto the end of a bamboo skewer or toothpick. If you want to work with smaller sizes like pictured, first cut the toothpicks in half with heavy duty scissors. For the shorter skewers I scored the bamboo by “cutting” with the heavy duty scissors and breaking them through the rest of the way by hand. It doesn’t matter if either one is a little uneven because you glue the spooky spiders right on top!
It makes a spooky after school snack, side with dinner, or great munchies for a halloween party! Oh, and it’s a great way to use up the rest of the bag of halloween rings!
