With Easter tomorrow, be sure to keep an eye out for doll size finds in your Easter basket!
Foil eggs, chocolate bunnies, and bubble gum eggs are just a few finds that are sweet treats for you and can add some fun to your doll size collection! Let’s take a closer look!
First up is the mini carrot. I picked this up last year at the dollar store in a pack of four. The carrot opens up like an Easter egg to hold a few treats. I noticed many many different styles of “shaped” Easter eggs this year. They are a fun size for doll size decor.
If you have a fun shape, like this carrot, take a closer look at it to see what other doll size possibilities might be there. Check out the carrot top turned upside down. It makes a fun doll size serving bowl!
The carrot portion can be used as a doll size cup.
Foil wrapped candy comes in many shapes and sizes. I saw a fun idea to mold the same shape out of oven baked clay (like Sculpey), carefully unwrap the chocolate, and wrap the clay form in the foil wrapper. Donna with A Doll for all Seasons, has a great tutorial and step by step pictures to walk you through transforming your foil wrapped candy into a doll size treat for play!
Another candy that has a great package for doll play is the mini bubble gum eggs in an egg carton. I made a set of eggs out of white clay for play.
My favorite find this year is something I stumbled across at a local boutique. It is mini Easter molds. There was a lamb, a rooster and this bunny made into an ornament.
American Girl sells a candy making set for dolls that has fun details. I thought this little bunny mold would be a fun addition our doll kitchen. I may look at the clearance after the holiday to pick up another shape.
For a doll size candy making set the gold foil bunny and mold are a close enough match for play!
When Easter is over I place all my doll size Easter crafts and decor in a container. They are ready for play anytime and since I keep them together they will be easy to find for next year!
Happy Easter! Keep an eye out for doll size finds in your Easter basket or on the clearance isle next week!

Hi Anna!
I had a question, can you make some crafts on doll size gifts?
Stuff you can give your doll for her birthday! Thanks, Ella!

Ella- the dollar store has mini styling heads, perfect for your doll. If they’re not to expensive for your budget, American Girl Mini Dolls make great doll sized American Girl Dolls! In a couple of weeks, McDonald’s will be having Isabelle Happy Meal (c) toys. Those would be great sized for your 18″ dolls. Hope I helped!
