This week I’m sharing a close up look at the Pretty Pink Coat Set from American Girl.

I purchased the coat in the summer during one of the fabulous sales from American Girl.  They have sales all the time for items from the previous season and it can be an affordable way to collect doll clothes.

The coat set is pink, grey and white.  The pale pink borders a pale peach, especially next to Saige’s hair.

The set includes a coat and a pair of grey boots.

Here it is styled open.

The belt kind of hangs funny when open because it is a ribbon with a velcro closure.

The hood is adorable and the perfect size and shape.

The faux fur edging really dresses up the set.

The grey boots are made of faux leather, have a velcro closure in the back and a pink ribbon that wraps around with a bow on the side.

The set is made high quality.  I love the weight and feel of the fabric, it is looks great for the jacket but at the same time it is not too bulky.

Unfortunately American Girl is sold out of the Pretty Pink Coat Set but it is still available on Amazon or eBay for a higher price.  If you are looking to get a coat for your collection, American Girl has a few other cute options just search “coat” or “jacket” on their website to see coats that range from trendy, to fancy, to  athletic!
