This is the exact doll my daughter is asking for Christmas. How amazing it would be to win it so I can actually get her something else to go with it! My daughter has already designed clothes for her new doll and knows what she wants to dress if up for Halloween next year. The doll will be Mal from disneys descendants. And my daughter will be Malifecent.

    I loved your blog posts about those dolls I didn’t know! They are very life-like and I love their sweet faces! The painting is beautiful. Plus, I love the fact that their body is both huggable (very important to DD!) and posable (very important to mommy!). Their princess party accessory set is beautiful!

  5. What I like best about the ashton drake dolls is you can find almost any skin tone you like. If you want a specific color or one that matches your skin tone, you can find it. Also, the dolls look very lifelike and they have the sweetest expressions

  13. I love these dolls; they are beautiful. My favorite feature is the fact that they come in a variety of shades and hair colors. My daughter has very specific ideas of what a baby should look like, and usually you can’t find the light haired, dark eyed one that she has in her mind.

  33. My daughter only plays with baby dolls and treats them like they are real babies. She would love the one with light brown hair and brown eyes just like her.

I looked at the Ashton Drake website and was impressed by the many hair/eye color options, but the most charming thing about this doll (at least to me) is how incredibly lifelike the face mold is. It truly looks like a human infant as oppose to a “doll”. Off to. Add the image to my Pinterest boards now.
