Make a stylish doll belt.

This quickie was inspired by a shirt that needed taming…

and a strap on a vinyl bag.

Measure your dolls waist where you want the belt to sit and add 1/2 inch for the velcro and shirt bulk.  Cut the vinyl strap to that length.  My measurement was 11 1/2 inches.  Add 1/2 inch to equal 12 inches for the belt length.

If you have a mini belt buckle, put it on the strap.  My mini belt buckle was sold as a scrapbooking supply.  No need for the buckle though, so if you don’t have one, don’t let that stop you!

Cut a small piece of velcro and sew it onto the ends.

And that’s it!

It’s a quick, easy project to add a little fashion to your doll wardrobe… or tame a wild shirt!:)
