Dusting Myself Off and a Few Fun Projects

It’s Friday!

I pretty much failed at my blog plan this week!  I was on such a roll, posting 5 days a week the past month and I let a few little changes in my life derail me, yikes!

Snow storms March 2015

And what about the weather this week!   Did you have crazy temperatures or snow storms where you live? There was a lot of shoveling going down on our driveway with 3 storms in 4 days.  Note: The school bus only got stuck twice this week on the hill in front of our house.

Isn’t that the way life is?  So, I’m picking myself up and dusting myself off and working on my plan for next week.  Planning, planning, planning is the secret to getting anything done!  I have a few fun things I’m excited to share, including the rest of those fun baking supplies!

If you are itching to craft this weekend here are a few fun projects.

Make a cute flower pillow with Julie.  I made this tutorial for Doll Diaries and it is up today!

I am loving Kit and her chicken made by Joanna.  She explains how she made it on her blog here.

With St. Patrick’s Day this month craft up a batch of cupcakes for the occasion!  The tutorial is here on Doll It Up.  It’s from last year but it’s good to remember those seasonal crafts that we might forget from year to year!

On another note don’t forget to enter the random drawing for the Springfield Accessory Set!  It ends tonight!  If you haven’t entered, jump over here to leave a comment by tonight to enter!

Good luck if you’ve entered the giveaway, have a fabulous weekend, and I’ll be back with more doll fun next week!

  1. Love the cupcakes! When I first got into Sculpey, I made pot of gold cupcakes, that had a black “wrapper” and then some tan for the cupcake on top, then I added little circles and bits of yellow for coins on top. after they baked, I put clear sparkle glaze on top of the coins. I will have to send in some pictures!

  2. Wow, look at all of that snow! This just seems like a busy time of year, doesn’t it? I am getting way behind as well…it’s hard to keep a regular blogging post schedule and I give a lot of credit to people that are able to! Is your little one enjoying the snow? I loved the pillow tutorial on DD. 🙂

    1. Thanks Farrah,
Your comments are always so thoughtful! We really did enjoy the snow! My daughter went sledding for the first time and loved it!
