For fun on Christmas morning there were a few small doll size gifts. What do dolls get for Christmas?
How about their own dolls!
Mega Bloks Barbie is sold individually next to the Mega Bloks and Legos.
They are the perfect size for 18″ doll play!
In the photo above you can see the Barbie hands are meant to hold onto lego pieces just like the lego mini figures can. She can also attach to any lego with the stud under her feet.
Speaking of the nice little details on this Barbie, why are her legs a different color from her arms and face? 🙂
My daughter Lucy (almost 3yrs) discovered pretty quick that you can interchange the pieces and she likes to come up with her own creative combos.
Speaking of mixing things up with our own creative combos, one day we played “Legos” with the dolls. Lucy loves her Lego Duplo blocks but has taken an interest in the regular size Legos like her older brother plays with. When the legos came off the shelf she wanted only the pink and white ones. She was more than thrilled we sorted out her own girlee set of Legos! 🙂
If you already have legos on hand build a little lego play set for your dolls.
These little Mega Bloks Barbies are also great on their own for little doll size toys!
It’s playtime for everyone!

I can’t decided if it’s funny or sad that I don’t want my AG dolls to play with Barbies…these are the perfect scale though, you’re right.
Anna says
Nonna, Hey that’s okay, we aren’t into regular Barbie dolls at our house either but we are into Legos!

I may use lego friends. I like how lego has finally came out with Legos for girls like boys have.
Anna says
Rebecca, I love that Lego has sets for girls now! My youngest daughter plays with her Lego Duplo Cinderella set everyday. I know when she gets older we will get into the Lego Friends. I should check to see if the Lego Friend people are sold separately. That’s what caught my eye on the Mega Blok Barbie for doll play is that they sold them individually.

Does anyone remember about 25 years ago, lego put out at least 2 sets for girls? I got the sets for both my daughters, but never saw them again. They were fun but soon got mixed into my sons lego.
Anna says
Sheila, I had to Google it because our pink legos are from a set my sister had. It turns out it is “Poolside Paradise” from 1992. Ours too ended up with all the other Legos until Lucy wanted to rescue out the pink and whites!
