THIS IS A HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL POST!  Oh, it makes me nervous just writing this!  So, I’m counting on you to not tell a certain 11 turning 12 year old around here! 🙂

Morgan went on a trip this week.  She’s traveling by brown box to Wisconsin.  This is a top secret trip that her owner doesn’t know about yet!  So, I had a little fun seeing her off and taking pics to share with her “girl” when she gets back.       

This is Morgan.

She has been with us 2 years.  We bought her for $15.  “Wow, that’s a great deal”, you say?  Yep, a really great deal.

There is just one thing I have to show you.  Morgan’s first owner gave her a haircut right here in front.

And cut off her long locks.

Because of the great price I knew we had the option to send her into the doll hospital someday.

And today is the day, yipee!

Now, I also need to mention that ever since we first heard of the doll hospital, there is a certain daughter of mine that was jazzed to save up the money just to send her doll on the brown box, wellness checkup, trip.  You know, so her doll could say she did, AND come home in a hospital gown!  Awesome!  🙂

Let me repeat, today is the day, yippee!

If you’ve never sent your doll to the doll hospital I’ll walk you through her send off, and hopefully she’ll be back for Christmas to tell us about the rest!

First, I went to the American Girl website here to print off her admission form.

I filled out the form and cut off the shipping label.

You know I had fun filling out the form!  AG makes it fun for the girls so I thought I would ham it up for my girl!  I hope they have a good sense of humor over at the doll hospital! 🙂

On another humorous note I was stumped when I saw you fill in your dolls name on the form.  The dolls names are always changing around here.  On the other hand I couldn’t just leave it blank!  So, I went with a name my daughter mentioned recently.  Oops, wrong one!  I know, let’s go with Olivia Morgan and we’ll call her Morgan.:)   

Remove clothing and wrap you doll in tissue.  I filled in the extra space in the box with crumpled tissue.

I had some fun sending her with well wishes.

Of course we want her home for Christmas!
