A new doll came in the mail recently and I can’t wait to show you her sweet eyes and rosy cheeks.  Ashton-Drake sent me their new So Truly Mine lifelike baby doll to review.  As always all opinions are my own!

This review turned into a a few posts that I’ll share with you over the next few days.

With so many fun details I had to split it into 3 parts with a bonus surprise.  (Eeeek, I love surprises, and think you are going to love this one too!!!)

I am such a hands-on person, so whenever I share a doll, outfit, or furniture I want to share a hands-on experience.  I want you to see and feel it like it’s in your own hands!

I first came upon Ashton-Drake dolls a few years ago when my daughter was considering whether to buy one of their dolls.

At the time I wished we could find more reviews of the doll.  It made sense to me that when our doll came I should write the review I wished I had read! (Read it here.)

Today I am excited to be reviewing another Ashton-Drake doll!

If you are familiar with Ashton-Drake, they offer beautiful high-end collectible dolls.

I have to say that I was so excited when I heard that the So Truly Mine doll comes with some of the lovely features of the collectible dolls and is made for play!  With a three year old in our house, we like the sound of made-for-play around here!

Yes, the So Truly Mine doll may be made for play but at the same time the attention to detail is fantastic.

She even comes well taken care of in a tissue lined box, protected by padding and secured in place with ribbons.

I absolutely love the ribbons tied into bows at her ankles and neck.  I think they are a sweet packaging solution.

Pull the end of the ribbon, on one side, and she comes out of the box hassle free.

Remove the extra padding and she is ready for some loves.

Did you know that Ashton-Drake calls this doll “the most lifelike play doll in the world”?  I can’t wait to show you what features make this unique doll “lifelike”.
