The Ramona Swim Set Pattern features a fully lined swimsuit top with a softly curved neckline, a ruched bodice, and a mini ruffle for a sweet, fashionable look. Narrow elastic straps and your choice of a swimsuit hook closure or Velcro back closure make dressing your doll quick and easy. The coordinating high-waisted bottoms feature softly ruched side seams finished with mini bows for an extra touch of charm. Designed for lightweight knit fabrics with super stretch, this pattern includes techniques to create beautiful shape and structure while sewing with stretch fabrics. The Ramona Swim Set also coordinates with the Alice Swim Set, allowing you to mix and match tops and bottoms for even more fun summer styles.

This doll clothes pattern is for 18 inch dolls.  It is fitted to dolls with the waist measurements of 10 1/2″-11″.

Materials and Supplies:

  • Materials and Supplies
  •  Main Fabric-Knit fabric with 4 way stretch-1/4 yard
  • 1/4″ Elastic- 53″(1 1/2 yards)
  • Lightweight sew-in interfacing (non-stretch)
  • Bra hooks for straps-1- (20mm /0.79 ” this is the opening measurement) Closure for top.
  • Optional: Velcro -3/8″ x 7/8″
  • Safety pin
  • Disappearing ink marking pen
  • Coordinating thread
  • Basic sewing supplies (Pins, scissors, pinking shears, iron, seam ripper, ball point sewing machine needle and a sewing machine.)
  • Pattern cutting supplies (28 mm and 18 mm rotary cutters, cutting mat, pattern weights)
