One company that has been offering fun, creative and detailed accessory sets for dolls is Our Generation from Target. This line is one to keep your eye on if you are looking to add to your doll accessories because they change it up and add new accessories throughout the year and they are also very affordable. There are retro accessories for historical doll play and modern fashion accessories.
This is the Let’s Do Lunch set.
It comes with a fabric lunch bag, water bottle, yogurt cup, croissant sandwich, and a butterfly note. If I remember right it was priced somewhere around $8. Like other sets available from Our Generation it is designed with fun colors and details. Let’s take a close up look at 4 fun details!
Fun Detail #1
The croissant sandwich comes with separate piece and that adds to the play value!
The sandwich has 4 separate pieces, 2 pieces of bead, 1 cheese layer and 1 meat layer.
Fun Detail #2
The lid comes off the yogurt cup.
We discovered this by accident because the lid is a tad on the snug side. The up side of this is that we won’t loose the lid as easily. A fingernail in the seam will lift it off.
As a side note the sticker on our lid is already damaged because my daughter chewed it. She is almost 3 and mostly done with the “chewing” stage but apparently not entirely done!

The water bottle lid screws on and off. Very cool.
It’s so smart that the lid is attached with the white strap so that cute lid doesn’t get lost!

Zipper, pocket and fabric on the lunch bag. These little details make this lunch set awesome!
Fabric lunch bags are a very common way to tote lunch and that makes this fun and relavant for doll play!
The pocket is a great size to pack a book, or note with your lunch.
The lunch fits nicely and easily zips up to take on the go!

Right now this set is only available through shops like eBay and Amazon for a higher price than they were originally available for at Target. I’m not sure if Target will carry this set again but I am excited to check back for other accessories they come out with. I think they have done a good job with the details on each piece in the set that adds to the play value. I also love the look and style of their sets!

Our Targets are still getting these. I love ours. I added an orange from another OG set for a full lunch. Thanks for the heads up about the yogurt lid! I had no idea!
That’s good to hear! I wondered when I didn’t see them on our recent trip to Target and not on Target.com either. I love the idea of adding an orange. There is plenty of room to stick in something extra!

Also, the lid’s white strap makes it more realistic, too. I am epileptic and also have migraines, and in order to prevent migraines and seizures, I have to stay properly hydrated. That means that I have to take a water bottle just like that to school and carry it around all day. I’m going into 6th grade, and I’ve done this since 1st.
