Great list, Anna! I LOVE Julie dressed up as a monarch butterfly. Great idea and she looks so pretty! So many lovely ideas, thanks for sharing. 🙂

Thanks Farrah! I’m glad you enjoyed the ideas! I’m a softy for butterfly costumes, I don’t know why, I just love them! My daughter has also been a butterfly for the past few years (not a coincidence, ha!). This year we are branching out and she requested to be Little Red Riding hood. She still loves her wings for dress up though! 🙂

Your ideas are beautiful and inspiring! Thanks for sharing! I had such fun making the monarch butterfly wings for my granddaughter’s doll. She loves them too!

Lois,
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed those wings! Your granddaughter is one lucky girl to have a grandma that makes her things for doll play!

These are so fun! I love making stuff for my daughter’s doll around Halloween! A couple years ago my daughter was a witch so I made her doll a matching witch costume. The tutorial is on my blog.. http://eatpraycreate.com/2013/10/american-girl-doll-witch-costume.html
Thanks for all the fun ideas!!
