While traveling this summer I had the idea to combine a love for travel, learning and dolls into fun doll crafts and projects.

Today I have a doll size school project about Louisville Kentucky. I traveled there this summer and fell in love with it! It never ceases to amaze me that when I spend time getting to know a city and then visit it, I am endeared to that place!
Every city has a unique history, sights to see, and food to eat. There is a lot of fun in discovering what is special to that place!
For this first project inspired by travel/learning/dolls I have turned my discoveries of Louisville Kentucky into a doll size school project!
For this project you may want to simply print it out and put it together for doll scenes and play. It is a perfect accessory for a school scene and will fit perfectly in a doll backpack among other school supplies.
The fun part is that it can also double as a way to learn more about Louisville Kentucky. I have divided this “virtual” sightseeing trip into several posts. I will have fun pictures of Ivy’s travels to share, links to more fun and a doll size project or two with each adventure.
To get started on the doll sized school project of Louisville Kentucky you will need the Doll Size File Folders Printable. The file fold will be the cover of the school project.
For the inside pages you will need the Doll Size Pages for File Folders Printable. Cut and stack 3 pages and set them on the inside of a file folder. Staple the layers together through the fold on the folder as pictured above.
Glue pictures and labels in place using the “School Project About Louisville Kentucky” printable. All of the pictures and labels are divided onto “pages” if you want to use it this way instead. I like to cut out the pictures and labels to decorate the outside and inside of the folder as well as all the pages in-between!
This little doll size school project holds fun facts and tidbits about Louisville! Make one for your dolls and you’re invited to come along on a little “virtual” sightseeing trip to learn a little more about Louisville Kentucky!
Send in pictures of your dolls with this school project or any school project they are working on to anna@doll-it-up.com. I will include them in one of my upcoming posts!
First stop…The Horse Races!
See you soon!
